Black Rebel Motorcycle Club member Leah Shapiro has some rather tough times ahead of her, as the drummer has announced that she's having brain surgery. In a statement on Facebook, she revealed that she is suffering from something called Chiari malformations, which she explains as "structural defects in part of the brain and skull which control balance and other functions." This has given her "dizziness, insomnia, headaches, tingling/numbness in my hands, stiff neck & pain" in recent weeks.
